A new experience menu, "Gorgeous Japanese Handicraft and Gold Leaf Plating Experience" was added to the "Explorer Hiroshima" website.
The handcrafted Buddist altar was developed in the 13th century in Hiroshima.
Buddhist altars from Hiroshima are known for their delicate technique of layering gold leaves and natural lacquer. Here one can see the factory of lacquer works, gorgeous golden altars, and can experience the art of gold plating.
