We promoted Hiroshima at the online board meeting of the Comparative Education Society of Asia
Hideki YAMAMOTO, Executive Director of the Hiroshima Convention & Visitors Bureau, participated in the online board meeting of the Comparative Education Society of Asia on September 24th with a staff member of the MICE Promotion Department.
We joined the meeting to give an invitation message as well as to inform the board members that Hiroshima is ready for the next conference. Preventative measures against COVID-19 are in place and we are ready to make the bid presentation to host the next conference in 2023.
The bid proposal given by Hiroshima University was unanimously approved. After the presentation, many board members gave us promising feedback such as “I would like to visit Hiroshima next year” and “I have been to Hiroshima several times, but I am looking forward to visiting again.”
The MICE Promotion Department will work together to provide a wide range of support so that the 13th Biennial Conference of the Comparative Education Society of Asia in 2023 will be even more prosperous.
