Subsidy program to attract international conferences expanded in FY2023
To attract more international conferences to be held in Hiroshima, the Hiroshima Convention & Visitors Bureau has lowered the minimum number of conference participants eligible for subsidies from 100 to 50 in FY2023, making smaller conferences eligible. In addition, subsidies have been increased for small and medium-sized hybrid conferences (in-person events with an online component) with 50 or more but less than 300 participants. Those who are considering holding international conferences are encouraged to take advantage of this program.
