Fude-no-Sato Kobo
A brush museum introducing the 180-year history and culture of Japanese brush making.
As well as live brush-making demonstrations by local craftsmen and other exhibits, you can see the biggest brush in the world on display in the museum.
The museum shop also sells 1,500 different types of brushes.

Description / Acceptance Time / Group Size / Time Required | Under the guidance of a traditional local craftsman, you will have the chance to experience the "upper hair winding" and "finishing" stages from the 12-step brush-making process. If you book the workshop at least one week in advance, you can have your name engraved on the brush. ■ Time: Between 10am and 3:30pm. ■ Capacity: Up to 36 people ■ Reservations: Required at least 2weeks in advance for 7 or more people. ■ Duration: 60 minutes |
